Abu is an Environmental Consultant at INTEGEMS with focus on Environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Resettlement Action Plan, Biodiversity, Water, Noise, and Air Quality Monitoring, Data Analysis, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Compliance and Auditing.

As an experienced Environmental and Public Health professional, he is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and improving community health outcomes. He holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Debrecen (Hungary) and a Bachelor of Science with honours in Environmental Management and Quality Control from Njala University (Sierra Leone). His Work experience spans across Researcher at the Sierra Leone Urban Research Centre where he developed research ethics protocols, performed scoping and desk reviews on climate-resilient adaptation in informal urban settlements, and facilitated community discussions to capture residents' perspectives and needs. His ability to integrate qualitative findings with quantitative data analysis enabled a holistic understanding of complex urban environmental challenges.

Abu has also served as an Environmental Safety and WASH Officer at the Freetown WASH and Aquatic Environment Revamping Project and Research Officer at Montrose International. He possesses strong data analysis skills and is proficient in using R, Epi-Info, Power BI, SPSS, and Excel. He is adept at managing and analysing complex datasets, performing statistical analyses, creating dynamic dashboards and visualizations, and generating actionable insights to support evidence-based decision-making in environmental and public health initiatives.

He possesses advanced proficiency in utilizing geospatial tools such as QGIS and ArcGIS Pro for geotechnical mapping and spatial analysis. His expertise includes creating detailed maps, performing geospatial data visualization, conducting terrain analysis, and integrating various datasets to support environmental assessments, and decision-making processes.

Abu has earned several specialised certifications that enhance his technical expertise and interdisciplinary approach. These include certificates in Climate Change and Health (Word Bank Group), Urban Flood Risk Management (Word Bank Group), Inequality analysis using R (WHO), and Public Health Engineering (Coursera).

Mohamed Kamara is an accomplished Electrical and Electronics Engineer with a first-class honors degree from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He has a strong passion for education, tutoring students on crafting and developing high-quality dissertation projects.

With a diverse and highly technical skill set, Mohamed excels in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang, and Bash scripting. His expertise spans cutting-edge technologies and frameworks, including React Native for mobile applications, React and Next.js for frontend development, Node.js, and Electron for desktop software. He also has a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, cybersecurity, and system observability using Prometheus and Grafana.

Mohamed is proficient in modern software development methodologies, including event-driven design using Kafka and web development with frameworks such as Fiber (Golang), Express (Node.js and TypeScript), and Flask (Python). His additional skills include database management, data visualization, Docker, Amazon Web Services, CI/CD pipelines, and version control with GitHub.

Notable projects include the development of a heart attack diagnosis model powered by artificial intelligence, a multi-vendor e-commerce platform (spanning mobile, web, and desktop applications), and various management systems such as dissertation, hostel, and student management systems. He is also the developer of several websites, including those for student organizations and academic institutions.

In addition to his software expertise, Mohamed possesses skills in hardware and electronics. During his time at Fourah Bay College, he developed a custom Signal Generator for the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department.

Mohamed's achievements include being recognized as the best graduate in the whole Faculty of Engineering, Class of 2022, with a GPA of 3.73/4.0. He is also a recipient of the PICO-CTF 2022 Cyber Security Hackathon award in Sierra Leone.
