Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI) South Africa sub-contracted INTEGEMS, under UNICEF’s  multi-year Baseline Study of the Community-based Early Childhood Development (ECD) Programme in Sierra Leone, to design/adapt mobile data collection tools; collect qualitative and quantitative ECD data in four target districts (Moyamba, Port Loko, Bombali and Koinadugu), process and statistically analyse the data; and prepare a comprehensive report to set the stage for a summative evaluation by assessing and documenting the status of the young children’s early development, as well as the contexts at home and in the communities in which the pilot project is to be implemented before the project intervention activities are carried out.
